ENCOUNTER KIDS MINISTRY
Lead Teacher: Eternal investments are made every Sunday morning in our eKIDS Ministry. This isn’t a babysitting role, you are a life change agent. Seriously! Commitment: Preparation during the class and on Sunday mornings, 4-5 hours, 9:30-11:30, on a rotation.
Assistant Teacher: Every Sherlock needs a Watson. Every Lone Ranger needs a Tonto. Every Chip needs a Dale. Every Snoopy needs a Charlie. Every Peanut Butter needs a Jelly. Commitment: Sunday mornings, 9:30-11:30, on a rotation.
Substitute Teacher: Emergencies happen. In the event of an emergency and we lose cabin pressure, our teachers need a phone number to call. Who they gonna call? Substitute Teachers!!! Commitment: Sunday mornings, 9:30-11:30, as needed.
Nursery Worker: It is a tough job holding cuddly and cute babies but someone has to do it. Never mind that they poop, spit up, and cry, they are just so stinking cuddly and cute. Commitment: Sunday mornings, 9:30-11:30, on a rotation.
SUNDAY MORNING HOSPITALITY
Greeter: Welcome each person who enters through the doors with a warm heart and smile. Hugs and high fives are the perfect way to get the Gathering started! Commitment: Sunday mornings, 9:00-10:15, on a rotation.
Barista: We like to think of coffee as liquid Holy Spirit around here. Fill up some cups and let them overflow, let them overflow with love and coffee! Commitment: Sunday mornings, 8:45-10:00, on a rotation.
Check-In Station Attendant: Help us keep a secure children’s ministry by checking in the kids before class starts. Commitment: Sunday mornings, 9:00-10:15, on a rotation.
Start Here Point Person: It can be intimidating going to a church for the first time. You can put our guests at ease by showing them where to start. (Of course, if you are an intimidating person you might want to consider our Church Bouncer role. See Bubba back in the warehouse for more details.) Commitment: Sunday mornings, 9:00-10:15, on a rotation.
Cleaning Crew: This church building doesn’t miraculously shine on its own, it takes elbow grease. Join the cleaning crew and show us your best elbow grease. Commitment: At the end of the week, 3-4 hours, on a rotation.
Handyman Team: Are you able to fix and build stuff? Like lots of stuff? By the way, handy women are also welcome to help. Commitment: During the week day and in evenings, as available. Detailed Cleaners: There are a lot of corners in this building; sometimes those corners get cut during cleaning. Not anymore. Watch out corners, here we come. Commitment: During the week day, as available.

PRAYER AND BENEVOLENCE
Prayer Team: We’ve got to pray just to make it today. Commit to praying daily for the church and receive prayer updates via email. Commitment: Daily during the week, as available.
Visitation Team: During times of difficulty we often forget the words said but remember the people who were present. Commitment: During the week day and evenings, as needed.
Meal Rotation: Truthfully, receiving the meals is almost worth having another baby… almost. Join the team and bless others through food. Commitment: During the week day, as available.
Event Planner: It takes a lot of planning and preparation to pull off a church event. And to think people actually enjoy planning events. Did you know there are entire college degrees for event planning? They teach you about balloons, bows, and party favors. Needless to say, we could use some help. Commitment: During the week day, as available.
Set-up and Tear Down Team: Isaac Newton said it best, what goes up must come down. Commitment: Before and after big events, as needed.
Marketing: We are in the market for some marketing help. Commitment: During the week day, as available.
Baking Extraordinaire: Sometimes the way to a person’s heart is first through their stomach. At some of our big events we like to take that approach. If you enjoy baking sweet and salty treats then this role is for you. Commitment: Leading up to big events, as needed.
OFFICE AND CLERICAL WORK
Dream Team: Kristin is the nicest administrative assistant you’ll ever meet. She puts this team to work copying, folding, stapling, stamping, and labeling. The best part is that she will often offer to buy you Chick-fil-A for lunch. You will have a lot of fun working alongside of her and this team. Commitment: During the week day, as available.
Graphic Designer: Cool logos and posters don’t just happen with a big bang, they require a designer—an intelligent designer. Maybe that is you? (Intelligence is not required; just make it look cool.) Commitment: During the week day, as available.
Mid-Week Childcare Worker: A number of our mid-week volunteers have young children. As a courtesy to them, we like to be able to offer childcare for them while they assist with various tasks. Commitment: During the week day, as needed.
