Fishing for Men

In John 21:1-14 Jesus is preparing the disciples for the ministry they will be involved with, a ministry that will change the world, and Jesus is showing them that their success in the ministry of fishing for men will only come from a complete reliance on the Lord and obedience to His commands. (John 21:1-14)

The Commissioning

Along with the privilege of witnessing the resurrected Christ, the disciples had the responsibility to declare to the world that Jesus is alive. In this sermon Michael highlights the commissioning of the disciples. Through the testimony of the disciples others are provided the opportunity to believe in that which they have not seen.
