GROW UP: Laying down roots for abundant fruit. What do Gospel-shaped lives really look like? How does one grow up in the Gospel and let God transform and recreate us into the image of His Son? And how does the Gospel change what I do, how I act, who I am? What is our part, our work and responsibility, and what is God’s role?
At Encounter University this summer we will look at methods and marks of maturing disciples, the roots and fruits of a life abiding in Christ Jesus. The first five weeks will be spent underground, with practical teaching, tools, and testimony of how to establish a healthy root system to our faith. Then we will turn our attention upwards to the resulting fruit, the tell- tale marks of a Gospel-shaped life. Because this is the vision: Every believer, fully activated, to engage the culture with God’s love and truth. It’s time we grow up in the Gospel.
